Hello! I’m Fiona.
About Fiona — Professional Organiser
I’m Fiona, founder of Professionally Sorted. I help busy families across Tunbridge Wells, West Kent and East Sussex transform their homes, saving them time, reducing stress, and making the place easier to live in.
I trained with Dilly Carter and have worked behind the scenes on BBC One’s Sort Your Life Out. As a mum of two young girls myself, I know exactly what running a household takes.
My story
Twenty-two years working with families
Before this, I spent 15 years as a primary school teacher in London, alongside supporting children with SEN and nannying for families across London and the South East. Twenty-two years of it, in one form or another — and the same thing kept surfacing: structure and order change how a family home feels to live in.
Professionally Sorted started soon after my second daughter was born.
What teaching taught me about order
I used to spend real thought on rearranging my classroom, and the effects were always profound — better interactions, improved behaviour, calmer routines, children who could actually settle enough to learn. Recreating that in a family home is the thing I’m proudest of when it works.
Supporting families with additional needs
Years of supporting children with SEN means I understand how much environment matters, that the right setup can be the difference between a calm morning and a difficult one. If that’s your household, it’s familiar ground for me.
How I can help
A children’s playroom or bedroom fit to burst with toys. A wardrobe that needs streamlining. A better flow through the kitchen. Cupboards you don’t open because they give you the fear. I’ll suggest storage solutions, rearrange layouts to improve flow, and work through it with you.
As a busy mum of two, I know what a clutter-free home does for everyone in it.
Outside of work
Gardening, singing in a choir here in Tunbridge Wells, spin classes, and I’m a parent governor at my eldest daughter’s school.
